Walking Hongjuseong Fortress (2023)

Walking Hongjuseong Fortress (2023) centers on the spirits of three figures who lived through different moments of Korea’s turbulent history: Nani, a young girl taken as a comfort woman during the war; Haksun, a freedom fighter who defended the fortress; and Simon, a Catholic martyr who endured a life of humiliation under a lowly status. Their voices now echo along the fortress walls, whispering to those who walk the site.
