EUNJAE JEONG
Theatre Director
BIOGRAPHY

Eunjae Jeong is a Seoul-based theatre director. She is currently the artistic director and producer of the creative group TCF. She received her BA in Acting from Chungwoon University and her MA in Acting from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, Korea.
Her background as an actor led her to expand her artistic path into directing through both practice and scholarly research. This foundation allows her to create theatrical worlds grounded in collaboration, working closely with performers and creators.
Her directing credits include The Anthropocene Project, a five-episode immersive production addressing the climate crisis; Walking Hongjuseong Fortress, which reimagined Korean historical narratives in public space; and Starlight to Make Us Shine, a Korea–U.S.–Japan–China collaboration sharing stories of resilience and hope across cultures. She also produced a contemporary reimagining of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice, expanding the canon through new interpretations. The Anthropocene Project has been cited in contemporary Korean theatre research (2025), and The Guests—for which she served as dramaturg—won an award at the Hyundai Motor Group H Festival (2021).
Eunjae Jeong has also worked as a dramaturg, producer, stage manager, and sometimes a theatre researcher. She teaches widely as a cultural arts educator and as an instructor of acting and theatre/film performance, working with students from elementary through university levels, including those in community child centers.
